John and Lindsay Huseman have a deep passion for reaching Salina with the life-changing message of Jesus. In 2018, they planted The Ark Church, starting with a vision in their hearts and building it into a thriving community where lives are transformed and households are restored. They are committed to creating a vibrant local church that serves as a beacon of hope and a blessing to the city.

A Salina native, John graduated from Salina Central High School, where he was an all-state athlete—winning a doubles state championship in tennis and leading the football team to a state championship as the starting quarterback his senior year. He went on to serve for four years at Kanakuk Camps before stepping into full-time ministry.

For the next 18 years, John and Lindsay served as Youth Pastors in Colorado and Texas. After two decades away, God led them back to the very place where John first gave his life to Christ. Today, they are thrilled to serve the city they love and call home.

The Husemans have four children—Brooklyn, Jonathan, Naomi, and Samuel. In their free time, they love making memories together as a family, enjoying trips to the pool, ice cream runs to Bogey's, weekly stops at Chick-fil-A, and cheering loudly for the Kansas City Chiefs (and occasionally the Dallas Cowboys).
